Professor Lori Peterson Branch is a scholar of Restoration and Eighteenth-Century English Literature at the University of Iowa. She is author of Rituals of Spontaneity: Sentiment and Secularism from Free-Prayer to Wordsworth (Baylor 2006) and is currently working on a project titled Beyond Secularism: Postsecular Reason, an interdisciplinary case for moving the humanities and social sciences beyond modernity’s secular-religious binary.

Professor Charles LaPorte is a scholar of poetry, religion, and literature at the University of Washington.  He is author of Victorian Poets and the Changing Bible (Virginia, 2011) and The Victorian Cult of Shakespeare (Cambridge, 2021).
