Arun Agrawal is the Pulte Family Professor of Development Policy at the Keough School of Global Affairs and the inaugural director of the Just Transformations to Sustainability Initiative at the University of Notre Dame. His research focuses on the political economy of human-environment interactions and systems, sustainability of social-ecological systems, governance of natural resources, inter-temporal and cross-scale dynamics of socio-environmental changes, and the relationship of climate and environmental stressors with conflict, inequality, and health.
