Cambridge Materials, is a suite of four materials journals, each focused on a particular global challenge – circularity, energy, health, water – and aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The Cambridge Materials journals [will] publish high-quality research that integrates material science innovations with environmental, life cycle, economic, social, and policy considerations, thereby bridging knowledge gaps and supporting impactful solutions.

The portfolio will meet the needs of researchers in the current publishing landscape and offer a distinct author proposition by providing a defined journal cluster for materials research which addresses global challenges and the interdisciplinary nature of materials research, while focusing on sustainability, SDGs, and the inclusion of policy and social science perspectives.
