(1) The Excerpta Criminologica, changed from the Excerpta Medica Publishing Company, Amsterdam to Kluwer, Deventer, and had to change its name; it is now called Abstracts on Criminology and Penology.

It was one of Mr. Nagel's wishes to publish a French and—at some later date—a Spanish edition of Abstracts if that should prove possible. If our International Society could help publish a French edition alongside the English edition our Society could be mentioned as co-publisher on the cover of the abstracting journal. This would be possible of course only with the cooperation of the publisher Kluwer.

Mr. Nagel discussed this matter with the publisher, who contacted the Paris publishing house suggested by the President. This publishing house considered the matter and notified Kluwer that they did not believe the project to be worthwhile.

Mr. Nagel informed the President of this outcome.
