The revision of the General Traffic Law constitutes the most important event in criminal legislation in 1965.

The new law, enacted May 21-1965, provides punishment for anyone who turns over a motor vehicle to a person not in possession of a driver’s permit. By the same law prosecutors and judges were allowed to vaiwe prosecution and sentencing in the case of minor traffic offences.
