Diversity and Inclusion

Our commitment to our students and their instructors

Our commitment to equality, diversity, inclusion and belonging

At Cambridge University Press and Assessment, we serve a global audience in our mission to contribute to society through the pursuit of education, learning and research at the highest international levels of excellence. As such, we have made a strong commitment to equality, diversity, inclusion, and belonging. This commitment is reflected in the work we do for teachers, learners, and researchers around the world, as well as in the experience of our people.

Our vision for textbooks

Our vision is to create textbooks that are accessible to every learner (and their instructors!) and that foster belonging. Our learners not only deserve to be represented in the pages of their textbook but to feel like they belong and are able to demonstrate and achieve their potential. To do this, we are committed to embedding diversity, identifying and removing barriers to inclusion, actively working to counter all forms of discrimination, and promoting equity in every aspect of our textbooks. Yet we recognise that we need to go further and do more.

Are there ways we can improve our textbooks when it comes to equality, diversity, inclusion, and belonging?
