Extract

1. Of thirty-four Apodemus sylvaticus examined from in and near Exeter, thirteen were infested with varying numbers of the dicrocoeliid trematode, Corrigia vitta.

2. The worms live in the interlobary canals of the pancreas, sometimes singly, but up to eight have been found in a single mouse.

3. The dimensions of the more important organs are stated and compared with the measurements provided by other authors.

4. The taxonomic status of the species is briefly considered.
