To mark the launch of the Journal of Nonlinear Waves, a Special Issue on Dispersive Hydrodynamics and Applications is now accepting invited contributions drawn from participants in the 2022 Isaac Newton Institute (INI) programme on dispersive hydrodynamics and the 2024 Satellite INI programme on emergent phenomena in nonlinear dispersive waves.  These contributions will contain original research on nonlinear waves encompassing:

• Emergent hydrodynamics
•  of nonlinear dispersive waves in integrable and nonintegrable systems, numerical simulation, and physical applications
• Stability of nonlinear
• Dispersive waves and emergent phenomena in unstable wave systems
• Soliton gases, generalised
• Hydrodynamics and statistical mechanics of integrable systems

Paper submissions will be accepted until June 1, 2025.
