Abstract

The advantages and disadvantages of host plant resistance in crop protection are considered. The role of plant resistance as a primary tactic in integrated pest management and its interactions with other tactics, i.e. biological, chemical and cultural are discussed.

Résumé

Les avantages et désavantages de la résistance du matériel végétal sont examinés. Le rôle de cette résistance comme tactique de base d'une lutte intégrée et ses interactions avec les autres tactiques biologique, chimique, et culturale, sont discutés.
