The John Ockendon Prize, named after the founding editor of the European Journal of Applied Mathematics, was launched in 2016 and is awarded every two years. Winning papers are selected after editorial board members nominate and vote on papers published in the two years prior to the year in which the award is announced. Selected papers will demonstrate excellent mathematical research relevant to real applications.
