Data-Centric Engineering (DCE) - an open-access journal at Cambridge University Press - is delighted to partner with the ACM International Conference on Systems for Energy-Efficient Buildings, Cities, and Transportation (BuildSys), an annual venue for researchers and practitioners working to develop and optimize smart infrastructure systems that are driven by networked sensing, computing, and control functions.
Each year, Guest Editors associated with the Conference make a selection of the engineering-focused articles accepted into BuildSys and encourage the authors to publish with DCE as part of this special collection focused on the conference. Full paper articles from BuildSys go through a more streamlined process at DCE because of the thorough nature of the reviews at the conference; shorter articles accepted into BuildSys and developed after the conference go through the standard DCE process.
BuildSys2025 takes place in Golden, CO, United States on November 20-21, 2025. The Call for Papers can be found here (submission deadline August 1, 2025). DCE Instructions for Authors can be found here. Articles published in DCE from previous editions of the conference can be found below.
