Abstract

Plusiotis prototelica sp.nov. from Baja Verapaz, Guatemala, is described and illustrated. A key to the prasina species group of Plusiotis, including the new species, is presented. Characters of P. prototelica that could allow it to be placed in the genus Chrysina Kirby are mentioned.

Résumé

Plusiotis prototelica sp.nov. de Baja Verapaz, Guatemala, est décrite et illustrée. Un tableau de détermination du groupe d’espèces prasina, qui inclut la nouvelle espèce, est présenté. On mentionne aussi quelques caractères qui pourraient permettre de placer cette espèce dans le genre Chrysina Kirby.
