Abstract

A new genus, Valdiviodes, and species, V. ashworthi, of Quediini from Chile are described and illustrated. The biology of the species is briefly discussed. A key to the Chilean genera of Quediini is given.

Résumé

L’auteur décrit et illustre un nouveau genre, Valdiviodes, et une nouvelle espèce, V. ashworthi, de Quediini originaire du Chili. Il étudie brièvement la biologie de l’espèce et donne une clef d’identification des genres de Quediini rencontrés au Chili.
